Through the 21st Century Community Learning Center, students at CHS can become involved in: academic assistance (homework help/research & project assistance/study skills), fitness and wellness activities (nutritional classes/intramural sports/open gym time) and a variety of enrichment opportunities and experiences (GIS, videography, cooking, youth voice and leadership activities, Toastmasters, extended learning opportunities, college, career and technical exploration and skill development…etc.)​

EXTENDED LEARNING @ CHS

Try a different path to credit.

ELOs (Extended Learning Opportunities) allows students, with the guidance of an ELO Specialist, to investigate career choices with the Career Exploration ELO, lend a helping hand with the Community Service ELO,take an outside course/certification with the Structured ELO or the intensive Build Your Own ELO option. The 21st Century Learning Center (21C), located outside of Commons A, is eager to provide you the time and support to design, implement and complete your own ELO. Our specialists can help you create an ELO even from the faintest of ideas. Come down and let's brainstorm your vision
